Now you've seen how we teach. Here's the full picture.

The trial was one lesson. The programme is an entire system built to get you your A.

Everything you experienced — the structure, the clarity, the exam focus — that's just one piece. The full programme connects weekly lessons, graded homework, 160+ recordings, in-house textbooks, and 24/7 access to the tutor who wrote the TYS answers.

You probably recognised a few things.

Maybe you noticed that the lesson wasn't just content delivery — it was structured around how the exam actually tests you. Application, not just theory. Evaluation, not just description.

Maybe you realised there's a gap between what you know and what you can actually write under exam conditions. You understand the concept, but when it comes to a 15-mark essay, the structure falls apart. The evaluation feels thin. The examples don't land.

Or maybe you just felt something click — a framework for thinking about Economics that your school lectures haven't given you yet.

That clarity you felt? It's not a one-off. It's what every lesson feels like when the system is designed around the exam — by someone who literally wrote the answer key.

What you experienced was a fraction of what ETG students get.

When you join, you're stepping into a complete system — content, skills, practice, feedback, and support — designed to work together so nothing falls through the cracks.

A-Rate for Our Class of 2025

Results reported by students as of 10:30PM, 28 Feb 2026

Our students texted us the moment results dropped. Here's what came in:

What ETG students say.

We see two broad groups.

Group 1

Students who are struggling

U, S, D, or E range. You need structure. Clarity. Weekly correction. Someone to point out exactly what's going wrong — and how to fix it. The system gives you a foundation to build from.

Group 2

Students who are already decent

B or B+ range — including students from RI, HCI, and other top JCs. You don't need more content. You need refinement. Speed. Precision. Consistency under exam pressure. The system sharpens what you already have.

Different starting points. Same system. What matters most is showing up, doing the weekly work, and asking when you're stuck.

"Before I came for tuition, I used to hate Econs… but after his lessons I actually gained interest in Economics."
— Om Mahajan, NJC

Built by specialists. Led by the TYS author.

Every tutor is handpicked, Economics-trained, and aligned to one goal: getting JC students their A Level distinction. No freelancers. No undergrads. No rotation.

What happens when all your energy goes into one subject.

Crashcourses redesigned from scratch every year
Every top-JC prelim paper reviewed within a week
Post-exam debrief released within 8 hours of the paper
Founder personally marks essays alongside the team
All 15+ publications written in-house, updated every term
Prediction list built on 20+ years of paper analysis

Four steps, every week. That's how As are built.

This isn't a magic formula — it's a structured cycle that compounds over months. By A Levels, it becomes muscle memory.

1

Learn

Weekly 2-hour lesson covering content, application, and exam technique — integrated, not separated. Attend onsite, on Zoom, or via recording.

2

Practise

Structured essay or CSQ homework every week, mirroring real exam demands. You write under the same conditions you'll face in the exam hall.

3

Get Feedback

Personal marking by your tutor with specific comments on what to fix. Plus a video walkthrough of the worked solution so you see what an A-grade answer looks like.

4

Refine

Apply the feedback to the next assignment. Each cycle sharpens your structure, evaluation depth, and exam precision. The improvement compounds week after week.

You might be wondering.

"Is it worth the cost?"
The Essential plan starts at $100/lesson for JC1 and $110/lesson for JC2. That includes the lesson, all materials (15+ in-house publications), weekly graded homework with marking, 160+ recorded lessons, unlimited consults, and 24/7 WhatsApp support. If finances are a concern, ETG offers a confidential Financial Assistance Programme with 25% to 100% subsidies.
"Can I cope with the workload?"
ETG is one 2-hour lesson per week, plus one homework assignment. It's designed to replace scattered revision with focused, structured practice. Students who switch to ETG's system often say they study less total time on Econs — but more effectively. And if any week is hectic, watch the recording instead.
"I'm already in tuition elsewhere."
Ask yourself: do you get weekly graded homework with personal marking? Do your materials come from the person who wrote the TYS answer key? Can you text your tutor at midnight and get a reply? If not, you're paying for content delivery — not a system. Many ETG students switched mid-year and saw results shift within months.
"Is it too late to join?"
Students have joined ETG in the middle of their A Level year and improved by multiple grades. Ian Chua (RI) joined mid-year with a borderline U and scored a B. Wing Ter Tan went from E at mid-years to A at A Levels. The system is designed to catch you up — 160+ recorded lessons mean you can backfill any gaps fast.

🪑 A quick note on class availability.

Most J2 classes — especially Mr Toh's — are usually full by April or May each year. Every homework submission is personally marked, so each class has a natural cap. If you're considering joining, it's best to reach out earlier so we can match you to a suitable slot. No rush. Just planning.

Common questions after a trial.

Here's exactly what happens next.

📋

Within 1–2 working days

Our admin team confirms your class timing, format (onsite/Zoom), and sends you a welcome email with LMS login details.

📦

Week 1

Collect or receive your materials pack. Get access to all lesson recordings on the LMS. If you're joining mid-term, we'll guide you on exactly where to start catching up.

🔁

Ongoing

Attend weekly lessons. Submit homework. Receive personalised marking and feedback. Book consults anytime. Ask questions on WhatsApp when you're stuck. The system runs — you just follow it.

Two versions of you.

With the system
  • Has been writing weekly essays with feedback
  • Has corrected mistakes properly, week after week
  • Has seen patterns in how questions are set
  • Walks into Prelims knowing what to look out for
Without it
  • Still guessing what examiners want
  • Unsure if essay structure is strong enough
  • Trying to self-correct without clear feedback
  • Hoping effort alone will be enough

Both are possible. The difference isn't talent. It's whether you decide to follow a system.

You've seen how it works. Now make it yours.

The trial showed you one lesson. The programme gives you a system — every week, every tool, every resource — from the person who wrote the TYS answers. We're ready when you are.
